I believe everybody who enjoys cooking eventually accumulates signature dishes that are their go-to for parties and large group dinners. My grandma’s signature dessert is her homemade lemon sorbet. Everybody goes crazy for it, and it’s scrumptious. I recently visited her and helped her make it for a big family dinner we were attending. The recipe is so simple, all you need is an ice cream maker.
- 2.5 cups simple syrup
- 1 cup fresh lemon juice
You then place the ingredients in the ice cream maker and let it mix for about 20 minutes, although it may take more time. Then, store in the freezer with parchment paper or saran wrap pressed down on it so it lasts longer. Enjoy!
