Making Pizza

My friend Lindsay and I are both obsessed with pizza, so we decided to make pizza together one night. Instead of doing just regular and boring cheese, we decided to make what we consider to be our ideal pizza. We started off by using some pre-made crust we bought at the grocery store. We did a light layer of olive oil on it like the directions said.

While we did that, we sautéed onions, red bell peppers, and jalapeños in a pan. Once they were cooked, we began making our pizza. We began by preheating the oven to 450 degrees.

We purchased tomato sauce, and we mixed some Sriracha into the sauce because we’re obsessed with Sriracha. We then added some mozzarella cheese that we also purchased, and then added the toppings that we sautéed.

After we added those vegetables, we decided that we wanted some spinach. We then added some spinach on top and added more cheese, because the cheesier the pizza, the better.

IMG_9444We then put our pizza in the oven for 8 minutes. The package suggested 8-10 minutes, so we figured we would start with 8 minutes and then see where it was at. We decided to leave it in for another minute after we initially checked it. The pizza turned out perfectly cooked. There was plenty of cheese on it so it was gooey, melty, and deliciously cheesy. The veggies added a nice, fresh taste to it, and between the jalapeños and Sriracha, the pizza was the perfect spice level – if it were anymore spicy, it would be too much. Overall, the pizzas were perfect and we will definitely be making them again.
