Located in a little strip mall, almost unnoticeable when driving down the busy road is an authentic Japanese restaurant called Meiji Seimen. I went out to eat there with Lindsay and two of her friends one evening. Forgive me for the lack of pictures in this post, I didn’t want to embarrass Lindsay in front of her friends with my excessive food photography (she already puts up with me taking pictures of food all the time).
It’s a tiny restaurant and doesn’t look like anything special, but word on the street is they serve the best noodles. Unfortunately, I didn’t order that when I went out to eat there because I wasn’t overly hungry. I opted for the spicy tuna and rice bowl. For a bowl of just tuna and rice, it was very good. The rice was cooked well and the tuna was very flavorful.
I sadly don’t know if I’ll ever be able to return to this restaurant. But if I do, I hope the order their famous noodles. My meal, as simple as it was, was great and I overall enjoyed my experience.
