Apollo Grill

Good friends, good food and bottomless mimosas. That’s all you could ever ask for, right? Apollo Grill happens to offer a Saturday brunch with bottomless mimosas that are $10 per person. Umm…YES PLEASE. Don’t have to ask me twice. I ventured there one Saturday afternoon with my friends Lindsay, Sebastian and Phuong to enjoy the fabulousness of brunch and take advantage of this mimosa deal.

The mimosas didn’t have any special flavors but they were still delicious and tasted more like champagne than orange juice – always a good sign. This $10 deal is per person and is available with the purchase of a brunch or lunch item.

For my brunch item, I ordered the avocado toast. This toast consisted of mashed avocado, pickled grape tomatoes, two poached eggs, duck prosciutto, and multigrain toast. It was also served with fresh fruit. Most avocado toasts I’ve seen don’t always include egg so I was happy to have this protein. I overall thought it was good but would have enjoyed more prosciutto to add more depth of flavor so it was more hearty. I couldn’t complain, though, because it was what I hoped for when I ordered it.

My brunch experience at the Apollo Grill was exactly what I went in for – friends, mimosas and noms. I had this meal a week before I graduated so I was ecstatic to spend more time with friends and enjoy these moments. Brunch is a lovely way to catch up with friends and enjoy a nice meal. Apollo Grill is definitely a nice place to do this at.
